XX Jubilee Exhibition
September 25-29, 2019
55 Frantsuzka St, Nova Kakhovka, Kherson Oblast
Welcome to the official website of the "Tavria Fair." Fair events have long been held in the Tavria region. Many historical sources mention trade fairs in the city of Kakhovka, which were organized twice a year in spring and autumn. The most famous of them - the Pokrovsky Fair and the Mykolaiv Fair together were the largest in terms of money and commodities in the territory of the Tavria province.
Due to the advantageous geographical position (at the crossroads of the transport arteries of Southern Ukraine), the historical preconditions and trade traditions of the Kherson region, the first exhibition of the "Tavria Fair" took place in 2000. After the success of the exhibition, which was located in the city of Nova Kakhovka, it was decided to hold a large annual fair for the entire south of Ukraine. Following the results of the second exhibition-fair, an order was issued by the Cabinet of Ministers to assign the event an "International" status.
Initially, the date of the exhibition-fair was scheduled annually in conjunction with the festival "Tavria Games", held in the city of Kakhovka. However, after the closing of this festival, the project team, the authorities, and the citizens of Nova Kakhovka decided to hold the "Tavria Fair" together with Nova Kakhovka Day at the end of September. It is during this period of the year that the fair can perfectly show the results of the agro-industrial complex and thereby confirm the former glory of this region as a breadbasket of Europe.
Despite the changes in the economic and political conditions of Ukraine in the past twenty years, the Tavria Fair continues to be held annually in Nova Kakhovka and its organizers are pleased to exhibit commodity producers, entrepreneurs, and craftsmen of Ukraine and abroad. During the fair, there are cultural events (festivals, contests, competitions) as well as specialized events of investment, tourism and economic focus (forums, congresses, seminars, workshops), which distinguishes the "Tauride Fair" from other exhibition events across Ukraine.
